Our Story

Why La House of Pulse

Movement should make you feel alive.

The Beginning

More than a studio

La House of Pulse was created from a simple belief: movement should make you feel alive.

We wanted to create more than a studio. We wanted a space where people could move, sweat, recover, reconnect, and leave feeling stronger than when they arrived.

After years of practising and teaching movement, we felt there was an opportunity to bring something different to Nice: a place that combines the intensity of heated classes with the balance of recovery and wellbeing.

That is why we have brought Hot Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Infrared Recovery together under one roof. Our goal is simple, to create a space where people feel welcome, challenged, inspired and empowered. A place where movement becomes a ritual rather than a chore, where people come not only to work out, but to feel good.

Wellness is not about perfection. It is about consistency, energy and finding a practice that supports you through every stage of life.

The Story Behind the Name

PULSE

Life · Energy · Movement · Rhythm

The word Pulse represents life, energy and movement, the rhythm that connects body and mind, and reminds us that we are alive, evolving and constantly moving forward. It reflects the heartbeat of the studio and the connection between movement, recovery and wellbeing.

La House of Pulse is not intended to be simply another yoga or Pilates studio. Our vision is a boutique wellness destination where people can move, sweat, recover and reconnect with themselves, and leave stronger, more energised and more balanced than when they arrived.

We are also taking over one of Nice's most established Hot Bikram Yoga studios, and it is important to us to honour and preserve the strong community that already exists, while introducing new experiences and a more holistic approach to wellness. The emphasis is less on "fitness" and more on boutique wellness, warm, welcoming, elevated and inspiring.

The Experience

More than a workout

From the moment you arrive, leave the outside world behind.

  • You arrive
  • You breathe
  • You move
  • You sweat
  • You challenge yourself
  • You recover
  • You reconnect

This is your time. Your ritual. Your reset.

Meet the Founders

Two women, one belief

La House of Pulse was born from a shared passion for movement, wellness and community. As founders, we come from different backgrounds, but we share the same belief: movement has the power to transform not only the body, but the way we feel, think and live.

When the opportunity arose to take over one of Nice's most established Hot Bikram Yoga studios, we saw more than a business opportunity. We saw the chance to preserve a thriving community while reimagining the space for a new generation of wellness seekers.

We wanted to build the kind of studio we would want to walk into every day: welcoming, inspiring, beautifully designed and focused on how people feel, not just how they perform. Every detail has been created with intention, from the atmosphere and design to the classes we offer and the community we continue to nurture.

My Journey

A deeper practice

Movement has been part of my life for many years. What started as a physical practice gradually became something much deeper. Through yoga and movement, I learned that wellness is not only about exercise or physical results, it is about developing a greater awareness of yourself, learning to listen to your body and understanding the connection between body and mind.

Over the years, movement has taught me patience, discipline, resilience and self-respect, the importance of slowing down, being present and caring for both physical and mental wellbeing.

For me, wellness is not about perfection. It is about creating a healthy, sustainable relationship with yourself. La House of Pulse was born from that philosophy.

Why Heat?

A tool, not a challenge

At La House of Pulse, heat is not about pushing harder. It's about creating an environment that helps you move more freely, focus more deeply and connect more closely with your body. Practising in a heated room can help increase circulation, improve flexibility and support recovery, while encouraging a deeper awareness of movement.

The heat also creates a unique mental experience. As the body works, the mind is invited to slow down, stay present and focus on the moment. For many people, the heated room becomes more than a workout, it becomes a reset, a space to disconnect from daily distractions and reconnect with themselves.

Whether you join us for Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates or Barre, we don't see heat as a challenge to overcome. We see it as a tool to support movement, recovery and wellbeing.

What Makes Us Different

A boutique wellness destination

A heated experience

Classes in a heated environment designed to support mobility, circulation, focus and overall wellbeing, a deeper physical and mental experience.

More than Pilates

Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates, Barre and Infrared Recovery under one roof, move, strengthen, stretch and recover as one complete journey.

A boutique atmosphere

The environment matters. From the moment you walk in, our goal is a warm, welcoming and inspiring space where you feel supported and motivated.

Recovery matters

Many studios focus only on exercise. We treat infrared recovery as essential, helping the body restore, recharge and perform at its best.

Community first

People are not membership numbers. We continue the legacy of one of Nice's most established Hot Bikram Yoga communities while welcoming a new generation.

A modern approach

Wellness isn't about perfection. It's about consistency, balance and rituals that support long-term physical and mental wellbeing.

Our Community

Better when shared

Whether you're stepping into a heated room for the very first time or have been practising for years, you are welcome here.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe wellness should be inclusive, supportive and encouraging, a place where people come together to move, grow and support one another. We are proud to continue the strong community built over many years, while creating an exciting new chapter for La House of Pulse.

Why Recovery Matters

Effort and restoration, in balance

In today's world, we are constantly encouraged to do more, push harder and keep moving. At La House of Pulse, we believe recovery is just as important as movement. Recovery is where the body repairs, rebuilds and adapts, it supports performance, reduces fatigue and lets us return stronger, mentally and physically.

Taking time to recover is not a sign of weakness. It is an essential part of long-term wellbeing. Whether through mindful movement, stretching, breathwork, relaxation or infrared recovery, we encourage our members to create balance between effort and restoration.

Our goal is not simply to help people train harder. It is to help people feel better, to move with more freedom, recover with intention and build sustainable wellness habits that support both body and mind.

Welcome to the next chapter

Move. Sweat. Recover. Reconnect. This is your time, your ritual, your reset.
